Currently brewing some stout partigyle style. 3.5 gal 1.100 imperial stout and 5.5 gal "small stout" not realy lol 1.055. All from the same grain bill. Added just a little dme. It was a full mash tun.
Taped off some volume markings on my big carboy. Gotta go pick up some glass etching cream from the craft store. If it turns out well ill be doing it to all my carboys.

Kegged up my all virginia ingredient stout. Well it turned out more like a robust porter. The roasted malts weren't as dark as the maltster specified. Racked my blackberry wit to secondary. Also local ingredients. Cleaned up the kegerator and some brewing equipment.
Cleaned up for last night's brew session. Did a blackberry wit with 5 lbs of local blackberry puree. Found that I love my new stove. The big burner will bring 7 gal of wort to a nice rolling boil in about 30 minutes from mash out temp. So it looks like I won't have to brew in the cold this winter.
