    Got My Robobrew!!!

FWIW, my efficiency went up to 76% just by draining the wort completely before rinsing the grain, and not trying to "fly sparge" after pulling out the mash pipe.

    Got My Robobrew!!!

Ok. Maybe I'm making it more complicated than it needs to be. I recirc the entire mash and then try to fly sparge while I'm draining the cylinder. Maybe I should just let it drip and then add the sparge water on top. When you sparge do you stir the grain bed or just pour over top and let it drip?

    Got My Robobrew!!!

What mash efficiency are you getting? I went from 80% using a cooler to 62% with the robobrew. I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I usually mash with a 1.5 qt/lb. and rinse grain. Maybe I need to add rice hulls? Everything else is great though... I ditched the cooler after 1 brew though...

    stainless quick disconnects

I think cams are kinda clunky to use. But, I didn't realize QDs were proprietary, or that all cams were interchangeable... that might make a difference. Thanks.

    stainless quick disconnects

I searched, but only found old threads. I'm pricing out stainless QDs. I'm inclined to go with morebeer because I've heard good things. I'm willing to pay the price if they're better quality, but there are many cheaper options out there now. Not interested in cams, and I don't want to buy them...

    Mash&Boil vs Robo Brew

Does anyone have experience with the pump (v3) an non-pump (v2) versions of the robobrew? I'm curious about the changes in software. V3 looks more programmable

    Love TSS2 temperature switch problems

I have a TSS2 controlling a chest freezer for a fermenter. It worked great, but just started giving me readings way too low like -15 degrees when it should be around 68. Is there any way to test if the TSS2 is broken or if it's the probe or a way to re-calibrate it myself? Any help is appreciated
