    flaked maize and rice

    well the time has come, roasted the crushed rice and quinona to toasty brown color. heated pot of water, added rice hulls to flaked rice and corn and oats and made poorage. let stew then cooled to mash temp and added my enzymes. now the wait to see if it works. wish me luck.

    gunner man and i think alike, Arcadia beer labels are so generic looking it made me think their beer was also. boy was I wrong, they have great beer and now I dont pay attention to the labels.

    so i went to northern brewer and more beer and was unable to locate any of this amylase enzyme. is it under a different name, or just not locating it. Where could I get some or should i just start spitting in a cup and pour my spittoon in my mash tun.

    that is what happened i tried a 3 gallon batch with a 4 gallon pot and it was small, i changed it to a 8 gallon pot with 10 galon igloo cooler and it right on. thanks

    Better with age.

    Just uncorked an Imperial IPA which was one of my first batches i ever made. it was bottled last november 2010 and it was very smooth and still had a great hop flavor. glad I saved some.

    3 gallons gluten free cherry something + 5 gallons IPA Hop Bomb with the 33,365 already brewed is a total of 33,373.
