So I need to quit Home Brewing (effectively need to give up drinking beer). I wanted to sell my complete setup for what I consider very reasonable costs that...
Latest NEIPA - still carbonating but 1st pour after kegging. Smells, looks, and most important tastes great. An early smaller ElDorado dry hop with a large dry hop of Nectaron (8 oz) and some left over Citra (2 oz) for 5 gallon batch. I have the same grain bill and hops for another batch; only...
thanks for all the replies (and like almost anything brewing related there are many methods used). I do prefer not to spund (and lose all that aroma - at least IMO) - so I have Gas line back to fermenter and use gravity transfer vs. feeding CO2. Appreciate all the input - each reply has its own...
not flippant at all .. asked for advise :) I do have a All Rounder (clear) but I also do closed Gravity closed transfers and as such typically have the fermenter tilted to get the best beer transferred. I suppose possible but difficult to measure as I increase the tilt to bet the floating...
Looking for input from others. At first I tried the "frost line" method but finally purchased a scale off of market place. Still looking to dial in how much is too much. If I assume:
* 5 Gallons of water weigh ~ 41.7 pounds.
* Beer at 1.010 gravity is ~ 5% heavier than water.
* So - 5 gallons...
One of my fav all-time ... love the mouth feel of this one as well as color and taste! 1stdry hop with Amarillo and finished with a cold hop loaded with Necatron (1st time using this NZ hop) and love the results.
I've received both vacuum sealed and not; see picture of recent order; same hops and 2 different packaging (one vacuum sealed and one not). No idea why but have been happy no matter the packaging method.

Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated. I do like both New England and Verdant and have often found 6 packs of New England that fit the 2 pack pitch rate. With at least 1 positive feedback I'll likely give the mixed yeast a shot and see how i enjoy the combination. Yes - a good sized Citra...
Been brewing a bit over a year - and have enjoyed both Verdant and New England dry yeasts for NEIPA's; since I have a 5 pack of New England that has a pitch rate of 2X11 grams I'm wondering on thoughts of combining in one of my batches using Verdant that pitches at 1X11 grams. I've never used...
Any recommendations for QD for kettle Ball Lock? I purchased on Amazon a Dernord QD and it failed after about 6-7 uses. Figures a one time event and purchased another that failed after 2 uses (leaks from the QD seal.
Looking for member recommendations on a brand.

I want to move from my 10 Gallon to a 15 gallon kettle and have not found anything on Facebook marletplace in my area the last few months. I see the BrewBuilt 15 gallon with tri-clamp/Ball valve on sale at More Beer for $214.49 (shows $329/49 as regular price).
Anyone have any experience on...
Wondering who grinds their Dry hops? I have been using Cold (45-50 F) and short (48 hours) for final dry hop and am very pleased with both Aroma and Taste. I am using an All Rounder with fully closed fermentation and Transfer (Hop Bong attachment for Dry Hop additions). My last batch I did try...
I'll pass on the meth --HB is good enough for me :) Only had one dinner in London and of course had to choose a pub and try authentic Fish-n-Chips (a good meal with a few drafts!). Can't recall the pub but did enjoy that traditional meal.
Used to make frequent trips (4 a year) to Montreal to visit our outsourcing partner CGI and always enjoyed my share of Rickards Red while enjoying the trip. The food and drink in Montreal was always outstanding and Rickards on tap was a joy.
