    Anyone Using Grok?

I looked (quickly) and didn't really see it on the front page. Sorry if it's a repeat. Wondering if anyone's using Grok off X (Twitter) for recipe formulation? I'm not great at building recipes but I asked it for an Irish stout with 2 more follow on asks for clarification and it seemed to do...

    Brew-it! automated beer brewery

I kinda like the work of brewing beer - the entire process. If I didn't want to be involved with its creation other than the most lowest of efforts - I'd simply go to the store and swipe the card and take home some world class beers. Hope its successful for you but it's not for me. The hobby...

Is craft beer and hops production declining too?

People my age and older - craft was pretty new to us and we moved towards it as an answer to the bland BMC we were limited to. That created craft GROWTH and growth in inputs. My son (24) and his friends - Craft beer and good beer has pretty much always been there, there's no Oklahoma land rush...

    Peeves regarding homebrew forums

If I ask a question about X - the default answer can't be "ask/find/pay/buy at your LHBS", if I had one I liked/trusted - I wouldn't be here. What's the point of a forum of like minded individuals if the answer is always "go somewhere else and ask"?

    NB - still working?

Thanks all for the information. NB was nice because I was in N wisco, got to Milwaukee on a regular cadence and they had a place right there. I no longer get to Milwaukee much. I'll check out the alternatives in the mean time.

    NB - still working?

I started homebrewing in about 2008. Haven't brewed in about 7 years and am getting back into it to feed my creative side. Back then I got EVERYTHING from Northern Brewer. They had a good youtube channel, good gear, good ingredients etc. I am well aware of Chip, Dawson, Jake moving on etc but...

Yep. Had a desktop version years ago, at least 2 laptops ago. I’m struggling with the switch to iPad/tablet for sure. Glad for the quick help. Looking forward to using the new profile.

    BeerSmith new version

Not to be a Richard but this IS the brewing software forum and it IS a thread about issues specific to new versions of BeerSmith. (Which is brewing software) I’ve sent BeerSmith what was requested, the situation is being resolved and quickly - even tho this was posted here. Kudos to BeerSmith

I just ordered BeerSmith Mobile on my iPad. v 3.1.9 Has no equipment for Clawhammer's system (120v 10gal) Clawhammer shows to download a .bsmx file to add to BeerSmith - desktop. Problem is - I can't updload it to the mobile app. So - thoughts? Do I need to spring for the desktop version (I...

    New Fermentation Chamber

All - Scored a new 7 cu ft chest freezer for Christmas. Destined to be a fermentation chamber. I'm planning it out now. I'm thinking an Inkbird ITC-308 to run temps. Debating on springing for a SS Brewbucket with the thermowell or just continue to use my carboys. What I don't have a grasp...

The cost of craft beer, holy cow that's pricey.

Just paid 27 OTD for a bottle of CBS. I didn't feel too bad about that. Been my Moby Dick for a long time and finally managed to snag it. Now I don't really want to drink it because who knows if I'll ever see it again. Going to hit some smaller stores today and see if they have more. I'd like...
