    What to bottle first?

I have a batch of Copper Ale that was brewed on 10/20 so it's been in the primary for just over 4 weeks. I also have a batch of Hefe that was brewed 11/7 so it's coming up on 2 weeks in the primary. I've heard that Hefe usually tastes better when its younger so I'm wondering which batch I...

    Is my primary finished?

Good to know, thanks for the advice guys. I'm clearly just being a nervous nancy over my first batch. Fermentation temp was about ~65F. This was as about as cold as I could get it (should it be colder?). I'll be ordering a hydrometer ASAP.

    Need advice! Carboy overflow!

Thanks guys. Just checked up on it and it looks like it settled down a bit. No more foam coming through the blowoff. Think its safe to put the airlock back on? There's also a bunch of solid crud stuck to the top of the carboy, this normal?

    Need advice! Carboy overflow!

5 gallon brew Box said 6 gallon carboy but I'm not sold. It fills nearly all of the cyndrical portion of the carboy. Should I siphon some beer out?

    Need advice! Carboy overflow!

Just finished my first brew last night, but it into my plastic carboy and topped with the airlock @ about 7:30pm. I woke up @ about 6am this morning hearing a loud 'thump'. The pressure in the carboy blew off the airlock and a lot of foam was overflowing. I quickly sanitized my overflow tub and...
