Any results? I'm interested to hear if the chocolate had much of an impact. I ended having to go with 12 oz of 350 Chocolate as that's all they had....My fear is that it will make it bitter....

OK I've dug around and I'm just going to go with it, as a few sources made me confident that the amount of acid malt I used won't adversely impact the end product. I will be cold steeping the roasted barley to see what impact that has. Cheers!
I hastily went to my LHBS to grab some Starsan but decided to grab a recipe... I followed what I thought was a scaled down version of the original recipe:

First runnings.... The gravity sample tasted delicious. For simplicity I opted for a 60 minute hop edition followed by a flameout edition. IBUs were well within style. I'm hoping foregoing the 40 min approach doesn't impact the end product too much.
