    An accidental experiment

    Are the cans open? If not they should still be fine. If you did open them then there is no telling what is in there now. You can still make the cider but there is a really good chance that it is going to be contaminated. Probably a waste of time, unless… You could boil it for about 10...

    Fructose ?

    I have a similar question. I want to prime my cider. I have brown sugar but I don't know how much to add (5 gal cider) or if this is even a great idea. What do ya'll think?

    Adding water to the fermenter

    I may have done something stupid. I didn’t want my 5 gallon carboy to foam over so I added less water than I needed to. It has fermented for two days now and I want to add a pint or two of clean cool water now. I think I should make a list of pros and cons before I proceed. Any ideas?
