    Super confused!

    Yep. i just came back from the basement where I checked them in distilled water. one reads spot on and the other reads 1.002, but I knew that and take it into account when I use it (I have it marked). guess Beersmith is just off a little. no biggy. I am totally fine with a 6.3% spring beer...

    so, no, I am not nessasarily compaining because my ABV% is in the 6.3% range, but, beeersmith gave me a suggested final gravity of 1.013... I hit 1.006. yes, I checked it with two hydrometers and yes, both 6 gallon pales of beer measured the same. used one package of dry yeast per 6 gallon...
