Help me understand my water report

You don't need to become a chemist, but you really should take the time to learn the basics. At the very least check out the Water Chemistry Primer sticky. No one is going to do the work for you. Good luck!

    Problem with new Riptide Pump

I've had this problem two separate times on brew day now. I have the "new" pumps with the stamp / direction / brown impeller. Pretty bummed to be having issues with a product specifically made for this use.

Dry hopping and Brett in secondary?

Let the brett do their thing and then dry hop. Dry hopping should be done as close to consumption time as possible IMO. ;)

5 Gallon Batch Using 1.5 Gallon Pot

It will effect hop utilization if it differs from the suggested amounts. I'd recommend you follow the volumes for your kit. Can you post your recipe? :D

What Pressure to Dispense with Beer Gas?

You need to serve beer gas at like 25 - 30psi. You're going to need a much longer line. At least 20 feet. I'd go 30 to be safe.

So I found a meat grinder that I want to mill grain with...

FWIW...You don't want the grain destroyed. You want the husks to remain as intact as possible while exposing the endosperm. You will most likely get a lot of astringency from the shredded husks. Glad to hear you are jumping to a real mill soon. :mug:

    Add fitting to Chillus Convolutus

Thanks. FYI - I just did this project and you need to cut the flares off the first 1/4" of the pipes as the OP stated. Then standard 1/2" slid over the tube like a glove. Def glad I didnt pay morebeer extra for the fittings.
