Did my first batch with the new kit last friday and everything was going smoothly but without a wort chiller i was reduced to putting my 5 gallon pot in an ice bath in the sink which took almost three hours to get it down to temperature. Is this bad for the wort? did i ruin my first 5 gallon batch?
