    Dump it, or don't???

I think out of the 20 or so batches I've made, 15 or so were Wyeast smackpacks, only 3 White Labs Tubes, and 2 were dry packs. This is the first Liquid I've done without a starter. Started yeast batches always "started" my primaries within hours for obvious reasons. Midwest emailed me back today...

    Dump it, or don't???

I had a couple of downers kill what otherwise was going to be a great brewing experience. Tell me what you think... With some tax refund money I purchased a SQ-14 Burner and a 10 gal Polarware Pot and went about brewing my first full boil. That all went great, but in my haste of wanting to...

Another Cidery Taste thread, but I think I've nailed it down...

Another Cidery Taste thread, but I think I've nailed it down...

My last three batches have had a cidery wang to them. On the first two, I thought it might be questionable ingredients, so I went to a proven recipe with proven ingredients I've used in the past: an American Hefe that I've made 4 times now. I still got cider from that even, so I started looking...

    White Labs American Hefe

I can already tell you guys are generally nicer than the other forum I started out on. I brew within an hour. Starter almost done pumping sulfur exhaust throughout my kitchen. I am embarrassed that I didn't think to check whitelabs website first, but thank you for doing so. I'm bery relieved...

    White Labs American Hefe

Hey ho there neighbors. My first post here and my 6th batch of extract. Oh, and first hefe. I'm going for an american style kinda like Widmer. I did a starter yesterday with wheat dme and exhaust today smells like sulfur/rotten eggs. My bro tells me this is not uncommon and not to worry...
