How many gallons of EdWort's Haus Pale Ale have been made?

Put me in for 5! I had to try really hard not to mess with the recipe at all. I really wanted to change the hop sched, bump the mash up 2deg, make a cascade hop tea for the priming sugar at kegging etc. but my willpower was better than I expected. Its in the keg APR, and was delicious as it went...

    Bud Light rocks....read on...

Well I entered my "base" IIPA in the Brewmasters Open and didn't place, but was pretty happy with my 35 and 2 "flawless" technical marks in my first ever competition! I will have to enjoy my last couple bottles here soon, but I am thinking of modifying the recipe with a little stronger malt...

www.mashpaddle.com at the Boston Beer Company

Where is all the money going from selling all that beer? Or do they have "stunt" offices for PR pics like this and then they wisk away to their Devils Advocate style lairs... ;) Seriously though, nice paddle!

Ive been getting mine from beverage elements http://bvrgelements.com I like the one handles at $36 shipped, but theyve got the cut handles on sale right now at $18.95 plus shipping. They get here quick, are cleaned, and in relatively good shape.

    Johnson Controls

If you can rip out the tstat in the fridge you can short the compressor run and common, it would run all the time like that, you can use the johnson to shut it off. To figure out if its the compressor or the tstat, plug the fridge in directly to the wall, turn it to coldest setting and see...

    Good Deal? Need help ASAP

Half price is always a good deal, but if you don't need it right now you might want to be patient and keep an eye on craigslist. You might find an even better deal, I found a $599 kegerator for $200 recently, its used, but a little larger with digital temp readout, came with a full CO2 tank...

    Bud Light rocks....read on...

Aaaah, just as I had hoped! But really. It is delicious on its own. Like I said, the best beer Ive made. But it really does taste delicious with bud light. And the best part is, I can drink it at full strength (wow), or at 1/2 and 1/2 (oh yeah), or 5 at 75% budlution (hell yeah). Its like I...

    Bud Light rocks....read on...

So, I brewed a double IPA, 6 oz of hops in the boil (Columbus, Simcoe and Centennial (FO)), and a 1oz cascade hop tea at bottling. Its the best beer Ive made by far. But at a FG of 1.020 and a bijillion IBUs, its not exactly a session beer. So I was thirsty the other night, had a bunch of bud...

    Opinions on Duvel?

Wild Wing Cafe in Marietta, GA also has green on tap. Have three or four then drunken stumble the 150 yards to Brewmasters Warehouse. Stop at the aged meatHaus that they just put in as well in that strip to pick up some dry aged tenderloin. Its quite the way to kick of a Saturday!

"Hop Tea" method for adding aromatics

I brewed a double IPA, at bottling I boiled by bottling sugar and some malto-dextrine. Added it to a 1 liter french press with 1oz whole leaf cascade. Let it steep for 1 hour, pressed, added to bottling bucket. Best aroma/flavor I have ever gotten. I know this is not back to the fermentor, but...
