    Is making a starter a false economy?

    I've yet to brew a batch so I am just askin here. But if I find two beers that use the same yeast and also have two pounds of free amber DME it would be very penny wise to make a starter-harvest-wash-restarter...repeat correct? sorry to hijack

    Schafley in Saint Louis about 4 years ago sadly their bottled beer now if a faint reflection of the orignal so I've found another.

    The outdoors camping,hiking,fishing and hunting. Also roses because theirs no more beautiful flower in the world. I'm just stuck on firearms though it's been a life long affliction but bass fishing is a close second.
