    Need help wiring Love controller

    would someone be able to help me out with wiring my love controller into my freezer??? I thought i had the hang of it but when i plugged in the compressor started turning on/off/on/off/on/off then i got a nice large blue spark and a wonderful odor from the love controller... did i kill it...
