I seen your reply on the bourbon barrel. I am buying a new unused barrel. how long would i need to let bourbon set in this barrel to get infused taste into the wood?
I am purchasing a new 20 liter oak Barrel. I wanted to know if anyone has done this before. I plan on storing a hard cider in there for about a year. Should I try storing a bourbon or rum in the barrel to begin with to infuse taste in the wood? If so how long should it be in there?
