Out of the four beers I entered in Philly, my Kentucky Breakfast Stout made mini BOS, however didn't place, but my 2 year old straight lambic placed Second in Sours! Wasn't marked on the score sheet as advancing, but who cares! Happy to have one advance to the Final Round! Good Luck to everyone...
Glad you liked it! It was definitely a different beer for me... I've done saisons, and straight Brett beers before, but never used a lot of those spices in a beer so I wasn't sure how it would turn out. Thanks!
I could taste a little bit of oxidation, but it was expected on a year old beer. That was being nit picky though, it was a great beer! I really enjoyed the Christmas Bliss!
Hoping we get the Crabapple lambic as well. Lambic is probably my favorite style. Not sure how sour it would turn out...
