I had Avery's "The Kaiser" at a beer dinner a few nights ago. While not a traditional Marzen (10% ABV), it was very, very good.

I picked up a bottle of the Grand Cru last weekend and thought it was pretty good.

We take spent grains, add some peanut butter and flour and make dog treats. Our dog goes crazy for them! We've regularly give extra treats to friends, and they agree that dogs love them.

I wouldn't mind if someone brought their dog to an outside patio, but not inside (I've considered bringing my dog to our local bar's patio a few times). I say this as a dog owner, and someone who also has dog allergies.

If I were a woman, I think I'd feel a little insulted by that website.

I've gone to Addison Oktoberfest for the last few years and it usually results in a good time. Personally, I just like being able to legally drink in a public park. And strudel, there must be strudel involved!
