I have a question about bright beer tank or serving tanks.. Why dont they use conical bottoms as fermenters do? Most pictures i see of these tank have a flat bottom or a very small conical as if it were a wine fermenter or vodka tank.
Anyone got any ideas?

Hey everybody, hope everything is great for everyone.
Iv been brewing for a while with extract now and i really want to move on to all grain brewing. I want to make small batches so i can experiment and because of cost.
I have a 5 gallon boil kettle and was wondering if i could make...
So i decided to culture the yeast from my secondary.. (not sure if itll even work) And im not sure what i got.. cant really tell if its good yeast or just waste.. help me out!

So i have put out some jars with wort and got yeast producing within the first day. Im kind of confused as to how to use the yeast..
Do i dump the yeast straight from the jar that i collected it in or is there some sort washing i have to do or what? Really confused with this wild yeast thing...
Hey guys, i made a batch of beer and racked it to the secondary.. i left it there for a while because i didn't have time to bottle so its probably been a month since i first racked it to the secondary..
I got a white film over it.. looks pretty gross.. but it doesn't smell bad.. Iv read that...
