    Beer looks/tastes like dishwater (pic)

Just out of curiosity, did you take a taste test before primary? Was it soapy then?

Pumpkin beer burning - how to mash and not burn?

It turned into a 4.5 hour brew day after work yesterday trying to avoid scorching. I mashed 2lbs of pumpkin with 12lbs of grains. Set my temp to 212*F, and reduced power to my element. Took about 30 minutes or so to get to a boil while stirring like a mad man and having my chugger pump running...

I do just about every weekend. I don't drink like a sailor (unless you compare me to my friends)

Pumpkin beer burning - how to mash and not burn?

It was during the mash. I'm afraid to try again with the same results. Its not a cheap recipe I'm brewing lol And to clarify, the scorching happens during boil, not during the mash. But I may go with attempt #2, and just baby the boil (turn down the power to my element), keep my chugger on...

3 universal label options and in need of suggestions

My vote is #2...I don't like that worm looking thing. It makes me think the drink is unsanitary. Ha

I personally would use illustrator when creating your logo so that its a vector image. However, if you never plan on scaling your logo up and/or down, then a raster image (the type of image photoshop produces - irregardless of file [.jpg/.png/etc.] format) will work. If you plan on using...

I was trying to go for "playful energy"...Would that font stop you from buying it (if it were on a shelf at a store) if you were looking to try something new? I agree.. I was just trying to find something that would slap it on a bottle easily for me. Good responses guys, thanks! I do...

Thank you Melana! I think I'm going to go with the colored one of my logo design. (But more feedback is always welcome!)

Thanks. I actually thought the apostrophe looked weird so I took it out. I guess this is why we get third opinions! :D

Ok, I've been stuck trying to design a label for my bottles. Here's what I've personally designed (using my limited skills) so far: Using the online tool: And here's what a designer has offered me (for almost free, but with restrictions): Opinions? I'm trying to include a label with 2...
