Now that your primary question has be answered, I have to know about this full moon thing. Were you told that a full moon increases the amount of time fermentation takes? Did you read it in a book? I'm just wondering.
I feel that my beers are not as good as commercials, but I am only on my 3rd batch. But then again I can barely make rice and I'm brewing drinkable (at least for me) beer.
So I decided to brew my 3rd brew yesterday (Nov 7) and I was pretty proud of myself for making the least amount of mistakes yet. It is now happily fermenting in the bucket. I came into work today to find out that I am being sent to Taiwan for 5 weeks starting on the 19th of Nov.

I have to say that I really really enjoy 21st Amendment Brewery's Hell or High Watermelon. In fact I would call it my goto beer for long hot summer days. Not too sweet and thirst quenching in a way that most beers usually aren't.
