    Yes, I cool my beer to approximately 40 degrees before I place it in the keezer and carbonate. After the beer warms up a little I get perhaps a bit of the aroma back but nothing near to what it was before carbonating.

    Thanks for the great tutorial! So does this mean that you don't whirlpool? It seems to me like you would have a hard time doing so. Or I could be totally wrong. I just put a spigot in my kettle and it seems like I am going to need some sort of filter. Thanks!

    Cool, thanks for the help. I don't brew with whole hop leaves either, just pellets. So have you found that just using a strainer at the other end takes care of most of the hot break? What about the cold. Do you whirlpool after you cool or before?
