So I am using my Inkbird on an extra Kegerator I have in order to use as a fermentation chamber. I am fermenting an IPA so I need to keep the temp in the mid-60s. Should I plug the fridge into the 'Cool' plug or the 'Heat' plug? How should I set the fridge? Set it at the coldest setting...
Nice. Should be brewing an IPA this weekend and looking forward to my first temp controlled ferment. Normally I set the carboy in my basement....which stays between 72-78....but on my last beer I think that was too high. Tired of banana beer.
Is there a way to connect a blow off tube to the BrewBucket? With the airlock I don't think it will fit in my fermenter. If I could do a blow off tube I might be in business.
I think this is the correct size thread: http://www.kegoutlet.com/swivel-nuts-treaded-to-barbed-for-beer-and-gas-line.html
Hopefully someone can chime in. The swivel nuts on my gas disconnect is a different size than will fit on the CO2 regulator....threaded side.
Hmmm....so does anyone have a link to one that would work? I am looking on sites but not sure what measurements are for which. The threaded end I need fit 1/4" female thread and the barn end needs to fit 3/8" or 5/16" tube. Thanks.
I need to find the correct size of fitting that will screw onto the thread pictured. Sorry if I am not using the correct terminology....so the barb I am not as concerned about as much as the female end of the fitting
