    Kegerator plans, input appreciated.

It's been a long long long long long (way too long, I could go on forever) time since I have brewed, and I miss it so. Now my wife is all about me brewing and I really want to dive back in full speed. I think I want to make this my "re-introduction" back into obsessing about this hobby. So...

    Over Carbed Keg

Great fix! Quick question BierMuncher...I believe I did this as well but the keg is only 1/4 full now. I forgot about it and just bottled beers instead and drank way too many way too quick... Back to question... Would you recommend using that spoon trick for this as well? Seems to be about...

    Greeting From Germany

Welcome to the hobby and the site! Unfortunately I think a lot of stores that I use will not ship to an APO because of import laws and regulationwith the products they sell, at least that's what they say. Hopefully you will be able find a place and start brewing soon. Good luck and happy...

    Mashtun help/coleman cooler deal

For the next couple of years (if not more) I will most likely only be doing 5 gallons batches as I would not have the money to upgrade to 10 gallon batches. I am perfectly fine with sticking to 5 gallons batches for a while. Would one of those be better than the other? I may go with the...

    Mashtun help/coleman cooler deal

    Bar or Kegerator?

So I am torn between building a bar or making a kegerator out of the whirlpool mini fridge we have (not even sure if this is possible as it has a small freezer compartment) that says EL05C on the inside, not sure what the model or size is as it wasn't mine. My question is which is more...

    BIAB Recirculating Induction System

What do you have on your brew kettle? I'm looking for something like that, hopefully not too expensive. Could you point me in the right direction? I just got my 9 gallon SS brewpot and I can get about 6.5 gallons boiling but not a good roiling boil and I have been told that wrapping it would...

    Equipment upgrade dilemma

Thanks for all the responses everyone! Sorry for the delay of my response as well. So now to try to answer the questions. When using the same one with a friend there has been no issues while not using a pump so I would say that it works well without a pump. I would love to go AG, kinda...

    Equipment upgrade dilemma

So now that I am out of college, making money, and have the time I am going to try starting strong again at the beloved hobby of homebrewing. Never really stopped but while in school there was a lack of time and money, but I also got 4 of my friends to start so I was brewing with them on and...

OG at Temp Above 60 degrees.

Stark, I have seen on different hydrometers it actually says towards the bottom of it what it reads at. Mine and a couple of my buddies, they are all different hydrometers, says it. It says something like "Specific Gravity @ 60/60 F" Maybe look to see if yours says anything like that on it.
