    DIY Paint Can Heater Question

Its a slow heat, but you can easily get 10-15 degrees provided you're using an old-style incandescent light bulb. A CFL or LED bulb will do nothing. I use this approach to keep my garage fridge at 40 degrees when ambient is 0F.

Lake water? You mean that great sewage taste/smell I get while cycling along the lakefront? Mmmm

    Vanilla Bourbon Oak Stout

I added about 400ml bourbon into a similar sounding brew. Strong bourbon taste, but nowhere near over the top.

    Disappointed in Dogfish Head 120

I loved the 60 minute, enjoyed the 90 min. Gave most of the pint of 120 to a buddy. Definitely not worth it for how unbalanced it tastes.

bottling 2 batches in one day

I was feeling overly ambitious and decided to bottle 3 batches and brew a batch in a day. I'm not welcome to brew in the kitchen anymore.

I'm located about 1 mile north of UWM, 1 block south of Capitol Drive on Maryland Ave. Water tastes nasty i say.

    Others "trying" your homebrew

Everyone that tries any of my brews thinks the beer is far too heavy. They are absolutely disgusted that you cant see through the pint glass because the beer isn't water-clear. Also, the thought of having yeast sediment in the bottom of the bottle makes them want to throw up. Now I only give...

    Question for Milwaukee Brewers.

I've used city water for a few batches(IPAs). Something just doesn't taste right. It's got that chemical-y/plasticy treated taste. I much prefer to walk across the street to walgreens and grab some bottled water. Tastes far better.
