I had the same exact thing in my first brew that was an IPA. These showed up shortly after I transferred to secondary. It has been about a week and they are almost completely gone. Definitely yeast rafts from all that I have seen and read. You should have some great beer.
So this recipe calls for bitter orange peel which I got from my LHBS and lemon peel. They did not have any lemon peel. Can I just buy a lemon and throw the peel in? Is it that simple or do I need the dried lemon peel? Any help would be great. Thanks.
I am making something similar to the brewers best summertime ale. I am using safale us-05 yeast. Should I do a yeast starter? I have heard this type of yeast really doesn't need it. Also I got one 11.5 gram packet. Is this enough for a 5 gallon batch?
