    Check your Mason jar!!! I went to check on the batch I stout I started last night and noticed that two of the cover latches had popped open. I gave them a smack so they'd seal properly. Much to my surprise (and chagrin,) the Mason jar fell off the bottom of the fermenter. Not sure how this...

    This is my first batch of beer. Brew day was two weeks ago, primary fermentation stopped about 5 days ago. Is this ready to add sugar and bottle? I've emptied the trub jar twice. As you can see there is still stuff in the mason jar, but there are still proteins floating on the top of the wort...
