    Beginner Welder Mistake??

Don't be fooled by that statement, it ain't so. Just because you have the welder set to the correct heat settings, it doesn't assure anything other than the welder is set up right. Getting proper penatration in your welds takes welder settings, metal condition and preparation, proper speed and...

    Beginner Welder Mistake??

Did you bevel your tubing before welding and make sure all your metal was clean? The fact that you have to ask raises concerns. To be safer, you may want to cut apart one of your welds and see what it looks like before you assume that you are good to go. Having a few hundred pounds on there...

    Counterflow Chiller?

The wire makes people feel like it is more efficient but it doesn't appear it actually gains anything (as shown above). Adding length to the chiller is far easier and gives more cooling capacity.

    Keg / Carboy Washer (yes another) . . .

I use a PVC valve to control flow when I hook up the adapter I use for cleaning my CFC.

Where do you get your kegs?

I got mine from the local beverage place..........

    Help a kegging N00b!

I know with my picnic taps the line was 1/4", not the 3/16" that many recommend and I always had trouble with foam. Good luck.

Most bone-headed thing I've done in a while!!

If it's any consolation, you have time to do something dumber yet to top this. Ask me how I know.............

Maybe I missed it, but what's the ID of your lines?

Getting The Keezer To Work Right

you need mass in the keezer to help control the swings, without it you'll have wild fluctuations.

    Bubbles forming in beer lines

I've read several posts that support running about 12psi to keep the gas from coming out of solution also and that's what I run mine at and have no issues.

Kegging-how long do you wait to drink it?

I'm not as good as I should be about keeping my beer supply current so I'm lucky if my beer sits undisturbed for 2 weeks after kegging.

    My first keezer build

Nice job but loading those kegs doesn't look to be much fun.

    Atypical wood brew stand

First, I really like the product, it's obvious that you took a lot of time and love to build that baby. I know this is going to sound geeky, but have you considered labels? It just seems that something that involved would look even more polished with labels.

    My Bar Is Done!!! Pics

Nice bar but I am in agreement with those that said the cylinder needs to be upright. If the guy at the gas supply told you that this was okay, he should be fired, he's an idiot.

1st time kegging, doing something wrong!

Here’s my suggestion for pressure checking your setup. Hook your regulator up to the cylinder and pressurize only your gas line(s) up to the kegs but don’t hook the lines up to the keg. Soap test your connections and then shut the gas off at the tank and see if the pressure left in...
