Full harvest complete! Cascade was the big player of course. Chinook second, centennial third. I'm having trouble with hallertau, 3 years in a row and only about a handful of cones.
Question now... I really need to turn the patch over and whack the crowns back. Should I dig them up now or...
I'll give it a try. I think there's still time to save most of the plants. Chinook is doing well. But centennial is affected by far the worst. Thanks for the suggestions.
I've been using Alaskan fish fertilizer. 5-2-1 I believe. Perhaps I need to up the frequency. Maybe to a few times a week. Does it sound overkill? Or should I try a 10-10-10?
I've been growing hops for a few years in my backyard. Everything was great in the beginning, but it seems the last 3 years the plants have been doing worse and worse. The leaves are yellowing. Brown spotting. Dying and falling off mostly on the lower half of the vines. What am I doing wrong...
