If I recall, the main issue I had was getting the update interval correct along with making sure the ispindel had a good signal. Only being able to check if things are working after 15 minutes makes it hard to troubleshoot. I also had to change the calibration from Plato to SG, but that was due...
I have 2 ispindels hooked up through brewfather for the last couple years. It was a little trial and error to get hooked up but great now that it is working and I wouldn't go back. I eventually started using a nautilis relay to give me a local display for the ispindels but this doesn't affect...
Is there any reason to avoid using barrier tubing (e.g. EVAbarrier) and push-in fittings vs FFL? I would expect those ball lock jumpers to be somewhat restrictive compared to another joiner.
Looks like the GCAST is available for puchase on the website, but by the description is more geared towards connecting the G30 but has a section in the instruction manual for tilt integration. From your post description, I was hoping this was a replacement conical controller that would connect...

I have my GCF in the garage (Florida) and could get down to 55F in the summer using the water cooling kit. I had to swap frozen water bottles about twice a day. I would hope I could get down to 45F using the same swapping frequency now that the weather has cooled down.
