Just want to thank all of the build threads that inspired me and maybe contribute to someone else.

One of my customers was going to throw this decal away. I got there at the right time!!

I get a little foam on every pour, so I’m going to add a fan next week to cool the shanks better. I just used the ‘course adjustment’ method and she holds a steady 38-40 on top of the keg. Also does not run much even without any insulation on the collar.

Im not a home brew guy, I have miller lite and zeginbock on tap.

I had a chunk of cedar laying around, so I ripped and resaw’d into trim. Put a few coats of tongue oil and finished whit polly.

I was going to cut off the front and back also, but after looking at it, the lip on the front makes a great lip to lift the lid and the backsplash will be awesome when we have mixed drink fixers on top.

I used a flush trim bit on the o’l router and rough grimed with a jig saw to get the top nice and square.

I used the original insulation and cover, trimmed it up on the band saw so it would fit. I haven’t worried too much about how it looks as long as it’s functional. Used the original hinges. The held up good for a while. I’m planning to replace with some bigger one soon.

I attached it with some brackets I had laying around and sealed it with silicone.

I had purchased this top from HD back when I started, figured it would be a nice top.

I got the freezer for free (Craig’s list find). The top was badly damaged, something had fallen on it. I didn’t care, top wasn’t what I was interested in. I also built a base with casters, I plan to keep this on the patio and put back in garage in the winter.

I started this project about four years ago and never completed it. My better half tripped over it last week and said finish it or get rid of it. Nothing like a little motivation [emoji6]
