    Weyerbacher tiny clone

I followed the recipe, kinda ignoring traditional ibu calcs. The beer is very balanced. I still have not gone a day without this on my draft.

    Weyerbacher tiny clone

Outstanding! I have made this probably 4 or 5 times now. It is the #1 beer on tap. I have hit the numbers almost perfectly every time, and it is exactly Tiny. I use Marris otter though, and chocolate wheat (dehusked, not bitter) in place of their equals in the recipe. But it's perfect. In...

    Weyerbacher tiny clone

Jesus, how old is that heresy? !?! So, that was my favorite beer. ..for about 6 months before they retired the recepie. It was then I had to move on to Tiny. I have been without, until 2 weeks ago when they pulled a reserve barrel of, heresy aged 360 days. It's on tap at the brewery...

    Weyerbacher tiny clone

I brewed this up yesterday. It went well, except I accidently lost 3.5 pounds to the brew shop hopper. I don't think it's ever happened before, so honest mistake. The owner is a member here, and awesome, so I'm sure he'll make it right somehow. It happens. Anyways, I went ahead since...

    Orange peel

Here's a good recepie I just finished and is carbing now. Note that the Centennial hop is actually the (new?) German citrus hop, Mandarina Bavaria that I used for a little aroma. It wasn't in my beer program. Figured it kept with the style as a German hop. I suppose you could drop the honey...

Just tasted my first All Grain Home Brew beer!! Not much taste?

Dont sweat it! It's probably just green. My first beer ever was an All Grain German wheat. First one was, watery, tasting. But a week or 2 on the tap the flavors started to melt together and became more pronounced. Edit: Posting with Big dog bruin.

Dry Hopping: Necessary to move to Secondary?

Or, build yourself a 3 tap system, and have 5 gallons of 3 different beers on draft. And bottle batches to put in the fridge as well. And use a DIY beer gun and bottle after a keg, and put that in the fridge. Result? You don't lose selection of beers, you just expand it to "draft or bottle"?

First bad batch - "band-aid" taste

Ummm, I don't know about this. In fact, I have to disagree. If you want to replace it, go for it. But to say that plastics can't be cleaned enough to safely be used after an infected batch, that's a little much. I never use bleach to clean my buckets, except the one time I got a lacto...

    Aeration prior to Primary

I don't over think oxygenation to much. I've done the drill and mortar mixer attachment, I've done the shaking. Never went all out and got the oxygen tank, although maybe down the line when I find ways to make light work of it for older bones. My method? I dump the wort from the boil pot...

    Weyerbacher tiny clone

This is one if my favorite brews. I keep it in the fridge. Had anyone attempted it? This may be one of my first imperial style stouts to try. Can't believe they bottle in only 4 weeks!
