Another HB Pale... so friggen good, it reminds me that I have to get back into home brewing (it’s been a few months). On a side note, this recipe would probably kick ass if fermented with a Vermont-style yeast. Just saying...

You can definitely make great SMASH beers. One of my faves was Pilsner malt & Sorachi Ace hops, but have also done fantastic versions with 2-row & mosaic, and 2-row & Citra. MO probably would have been a bit more flavourful though

Thanks for the reply, rexbrax. But luckily Toronto Brewing started stocking it again; I actually just picked up a couple ounces yesterday. Gonna try to get a batch going in time for spring [emoji2]

Just enjoyed a flight at Junction Craft Brewing. Helles, Pilsner, Mango IPA, and IPA. They were all pretty great. But the Mango IPA was the best

Moved on to GLB’s Lake Effect. This is one of my fave IPAs ever!

HB Sorachi Lager. It’s a little hazy but it tastes amazing. I haven’t been brewing lately, but I have got to get my hands on some lager yeast and make this again for summer (especially since I’ve got a pound of Sorachi Ace stashed in my freezer). Cheers! [emoji482]

I’d have to say gardening is one of my favourite simple pleasures. Last year I grew flowers for the first time; they were so pretty and I loved cutting them and making beautiful bouquets every few days. So simple, but so satisfying :)
