Years ago Samuel Adams made a beer called Hopscape, it was a west coast style wheat ale that i couldn't get enough of. This is my clone version as close to it as I ever got. Pillowy wheat Malt flavors with subtle sweetness accented by pine citrus hoop flavor and aromas with a crisp finish.

Imperial Stout, 12% with home toasted oak chips soaked in whiskey for 30 days. Roasty, burnt chocolate, slight sweet vanilla oakiness and whiskey warmth.

    Porter: roasted Oak chips?

I've done a max of 3oz chips(in 2oz whiskey) for 9 days. Plenty of oak flavor that is mild and not over done. Home toasting chips is a fun experiment too for unique flavors

American brown ale, turned out more amber than brown, meh. Tastes great so not too worried. Bready, nutty with small hints of chocolate.
