I have a huge pile of old hay and goat and llama poo from cleaning out my shelter and hay feeder after winter. I'm guessing it consists of 400-600 pounds of hay. Once it starts breaking down I should have a very nice supply of compost for all my needs. Should be getting some chicken soon so...
Yesterday I had an employee come literally within inched of being killed at a construction project we are working on at a power plant. He was sitting on the tailgate of the truck when the boom of the concrete pumper truck came down on our truck. Just a few inches could have meant the...
I've been using Cucusoft iPod Video Converter Suite. Haven't had any problems with it yet, but I've only used it a few times so far. Pretty easy to use too.

I found a vial of East Coast ale in my fridge that was 4 months past its prime. Made a good starter with it and pitched it and all went just fine. Very short lag time and strong fermentation. I think they will last a few months after their best by dates as long as they are properly...
Its in the primary and going strong. Went alot smoother than my first AG batch. Can't wait to do my third AG. Have a new turkey fryer on the way so I'll be able to do full volume boils now.
Welcome, nice to have you. I'm not in NC yet, but if everything goes well should be in the Wilmington area by early spring. Too bad its not closer, always looking for some brew friends.
I was just getting ready to ask the same question--to bag or not to bag. I didn't bag last time I dry hopped and it was a PITA when I racked. Think I'll try the bag method this time.
