I've looked into that. I can manually adjust the temp, and when I turn it all the way down, the load comes off the compressor, and then I can hear a load go back onto it when I turn it back up.
No noticeable clicking takes place, as far as I know.
I have a BEVAIR mm14ge cooler I picked up for free(should be an indicator) that works intermittently. I have attained this cooler for the purpose of lagering and cooling beer products (hops, yeast, etc........). It works for a few hours, and then the compressor gets hot to the touch. Won't cool...
