    I guess I'm a drug dealer now?!

Is it your fence or their fence. If it's yours, paint their side of it hot pink.

    30A GFCI power cord

Wow. I paid $77 for that from a different supplier (friesen electronics). Good find.

    crisp clear taste

OK, so I know that no one is going to believe me since it's page 3 of this thread and no one else has mentioned it yet... but... People always say to eat pasta and breads and stuff before a night of drinking. That's totally wrong. Eat only protein. If you eat a big hunk of meat before...

    Building Monster Mill base

For ease of storage, how about a pull out shelf. Mine is at the exact height of a 5 gallon paint bucket, so when I pull it out it rests on the bucket and (almost) creates a seal. I mill in my living room (yikes!!!) and get very little to no dust from the milling process, just from dumping the...

    Closed-system pressurized fermentation technique!

I think they will drop yeast after most of fermentation and then 'cap the fermenter' to the full 15 PSI and partially capture as much pressure as possible during the very end of fermentation and diacetyl rest before charging in the brite tank (or the unitank). I think you wouldn't want the...

    Heat Exchangers / Plate Chillers

I don't have issues with cold break (well the proteins and such). I have hop pellet matter issues. Cold break in the fermenter is supposed to be good for the yeast and I've hear excessive filtering of it actually makes fermentation suffer (making the beer lack luster) because there are no...

    Heat Exchangers / Plate Chillers

That's why I put the return line (loc-line) under the wort level and not splashing into it. But I have seen videos of breweries that pump and splash hot wort into fermenters (cool ships) with no concern for hot side aeration (HSA) - which is what I think you're really talking about. DMS will...

    Heat Exchangers / Plate Chillers

Good luck my friend. You are in for a bag of hurt regarding filtering. Completely insane if you don't use a hop spider/paint strainer or something like that. Now I am using biodiesel filter bags (same thing really) that give me a micron rating. I've got a 400 and a 250 micron. I think paint...

A Cold Mash Tun - how do you guys warm it prior to mash?

I give mine a kiss and tell her she is absolutely the most ravishing tun I've ever mashed in. That warms her up nice.

Any cool containers to store grain in?

OK cool. That's why I never bought one. Was waiting to hear that. Thx.

Any cool containers to store grain in?

As an alternative to Vittle Vaults, I've been wanting to try these. They're called Buddeez Bag-In Pet Food Dispensers and this one is 60 gallon. Sunken wheels on the back. Complete with scoop. Haven't found them anywhere that shipping isn't 50% of the unit price.

Motor size (HP) for grain mill?

At least 60+ in-Lb torque at whatever your speed, but 175 RPM is a sweet spot. Mine is a 1725 RPM 1/3 HP that gives me 100 in-Lb torque at 172 RPM with aid of a 10:1 ratio gearbox (reducer). This is an easy motor to find on ebay. So, I'd not go any less than 1/4 HP, to directly answer your...

Accuflex Bev-Seal Ultra - length of line?

I do it a little different. First I put the heat gun on low. Then use a philipshead screwdriver and ream it into the hose while holding them both just above the heat gun heating just enough of the tubing to allow the reaming. The screwdriver getting hot also helps with this. Heating too much...

Accuflex Bev-Seal Ultra - length of line?

+1 times 26. That's about how many barbs I've done this way. Only one leaked and I re-did it. My multiplier ended up being about 1.1. So as per that, here are my lengths for my 7.2 cu ft freezer (not too much rise or distance): 6 PSI - 7' 7 PSI - 8' 8 PSI - 9' 9 PSI - 10' 10 PSI - 11' 11 PSI...

    Closed-system pressurized fermentation technique!

Kick but man. I like it. I've never been given the reason for the pressure filled gauge. McMaster states that they are better for vibration, so mounted on an engine or what not I get it. Originally I expected it had to do with going down to freezing temps, but that's not the case. {I was...
