Well boy howdy, I knew the last two additions would be vigorous for the Sakè…but wow! 20mins later and we have this! It looks like a hailstorm on the puddle inside the fermenter for all the bubbles coming off. Cool! Trying a new DIPA from local Banded Creek Brewing. Little bit hazy, sweeter...

Big day for the Sakè! Just put in 9cups water, 15oz of Koji and 6cups steamed rice. After a big swirl, 2mins later, the bubbler has gone crazy! The milky ‘Nigorizake’ is at around the halfway mark of a 6gal fermonster, but in between each rice grain is sweet, sweet Sakè! Tomorrow is ‘Tomezoe’...

Okay, having a NEIPA. Like I said before, thank goodness for local breweries, Railyard is a great one.

I never met ‘Flip’ but used to work with one of his best friends. I understand what he is doing. His voice and relationship with Lefty is so precious, and that’s how I remember him. I’m reminded of his standing up cast, strength and 70 footers. Go baby go!!

Okay. Started into the heavy. Had one before. Flip Pallot died, but most people are unaware. One of the best saltwater fly anglers in the world died. Sigh.😞 Flip and my old boss were friends. Sigh. To the fish!!🙏
