I get a nice thick SCOBY with continuous brew (after many weeks), not sure if it's really possible if you do single batches all the time.

hey guys. I'm just about finished with my first batch of kombucha. : ) so my question is, it seems I have a nice healthy film on the top of my brew. I'm doing a continuous brew and want to know if it's ok to siphon some kombucha off of the bottom and add more to the top at this time? I don't...
