Thanks drderelict for the tips, can you provide some insight as to why the Better Bottles are "better" than glass? Is it mainly because they are lighter and won't break? I noticed they are cheaper too. Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome and advice, Shooter. I have read that a lot of folks don't bother with moving to the secondary on some of these kits/recipes. The instructions say it will "mellow out" and "clarify" in the secondary, but obviously I don't know if that's true since this is my first brew...
