That is amazing. I really like the look of that. I may hit you up if I decide to do something like that.

    DIY tap towers? (not PVC)

I thought of this too, but I figured spraying foam inside the tubing might be easier and insulate better.

    DIY tap towers? (not PVC)

My last keezer had a lot of woodwork. For this one I am looking for a more industrial look. Wood is still an option though.

    DIY tap towers? (not PVC)

I have seen several DIY towers made of PVC, but has anyone seen a tower DIY'd out of square metal tubing? Or anything else for that matter. I am looking for something a little more unique. I am considering making one out of 4" square tubing. I would basically weld a T together, and have two...

    Another keezer in the making!

i have a similar keezer with coffin, and i just used an old computer fan. i wired it to an old cell phone charger and just set it in the freezer. it circulates the air really well and keeps my insulated coffin nice and cool. and it was about $5.

Setting the Tile in my Keezer, advice needed

I am finishing up my keezer (see build here) and one of my last steps is securing the tile. i plan on grouting it, but I could use some advice on sealing it to prevent any beer or water from getting under the tile and rotting my wood. anyone have any tips, advice, tutorials? Thanks, Russ

    Russ' Keezer Build

i hooked up my amber ale and officially poured my first pint from my new keezer. tomorrow i am kegging a wheat trappist and an IPA, so in a few days i will have three delicious beers to choose from. i might call in sick to work that day to celebrate and really break this thing in. you're all...

    Russ' Keezer Build

in previous posts i showed the insulated PVC that i made to run the beer lines through and the hinged back door to access it. it looked good on paper and in theory, but was impossible in practice. the hinged door is useless because there isnt enough room inside the coffin to do anything. once...

    Russ' Keezer Build

yes they will close all the way. this is one of the reasons i added the layer of trim around the tap holes. i clamped everything together several times and tested for clearance on the tap handles and they close the way i have it now. it was a win-win because i think that extra trim added a lot...
