    So who's brewing this weekend?

    Monday brewed extract IPA. Used new stir plate to make y. Starter Saturday. Had to add blowoff tube yesterday. Have 3 week old brown Porter with Stuck fermentation. Nothing going on there.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

    Brewed my Christmas Bier Sunday night. Used starter yeast. Initial OG 1.098. Fermenting quickly 9 hours later. 36 hours later, nothing in airflow. Thought it was stuck. Checked bucket lid. Must not have snapped her down, lid had popped up. Now 6 days later still going strong every 4 seconds.

    Just brewed a NB German Alt, extract, supposed to have 1.052 OG. Mine came in at 1.046. What can I do next time to correct that?

    Brewed first 3 batches, ready to try a complex recipe from beer recipe book. A Christmas beer, 11% ABV, says to condition 6-8 months.

    Live in Garfield. Wife bought me a small beer machine from Brookstone 15 months ago; upgraded to two 5 gallon buckets in January. Brewed Irish Red Saturday night. My Irish Stout should be ready St. Paddys weekend.

    I am new at this . Just brewed first 5 gallons , of Brown ale, have an Irish Stout bottled, now brewing an Irish Red. Not sure if available the 16th, but would like to stop in wherever you folks decide to meet.
