Bringing homebrewing up in a job interview

My current company is non-alcoholic (Pellagrino Party!). I didn't know that at the time of the interview, but if I would have talked homebrew it would have been game over. So, 3 years later I'm looking again. Is it bad I'm trying to feel out if my prospective boss drinks?

    Making Coffee Porter

I added two oz of Starbucks Cafe Cielo cracked hole beans in the secondary for a week prior to bottling a stout recently. Might have been a big mistake if the flavor doesn't mellow a bit over time. So far the coffee taste is very overwhelming. Learn from my fail.

    What's your profession?

Medical sales...for a company that has a no alcohol policy. Haha.

    What to do in Raleigh

I actually do like Big Boss. Cool atmosphere and a lot of beers they don't bottle. Might want to take a drive and check out Red Oak. Not a huge fan of Natty Greens- not bad beer just not my local favorite.

    Kangen water system for brewing?????

Really the way the Kangen has a higher pH is through keeping minerals in the water. Kangen is great for clean water and also heavily oxygenated water. Toy with the pHs to get your best results.
