Thanks walking deer,no these are tame black berries my brother in law let me pick,there must have been aleast 6 five gal buckets on the vines ,but I just picked 1 bucket.Wine has a great flavor so far.Getting ready to rack to secondary tomorrow.Let me know how yours turnes out.
Yooper ,i am going to try your reciepe,i have some skins also frozen,instead of grape skins i will use wild plum skins.everything else should be the same,lets hope it works with the wild plum skins.
I have made a gal of Grape, a gal. of cranberry,a gal of Pomagrante,White grape mix,a gal. of cranberry,pomagrante,blueberry mix,with this reciepe,so far its great,now just the 1 year wait.
getting ready for 3rd racking on my onion wine,great color,taste is still mild,I mey stabilize ,let sit 10 to 20 days and bottle.I will let you know in 6 months or so how it came out.
