This is a mead fermenting in my basement for the past 6 weeks. My second ever mead. Tagging @hafmpty.

I, for one, think this is ingenious! Most other solutions are attached directly to the basket or the top rim of the kettle. This is great for keeping the supports out of the way.

If arbor fabricating doesn't have what you want, you could also try Utah Biodiesel Supply, they have lots of brewing related stainless steel baskets, hop spiders, etc.

I thought the 1L bottles were sold in concentrated form, so 10 ml is not necessary for 5 gallon batches?

Thank you for the recommendation of the electric turkey fryer, induction burner, and seafood steamer! I hadn't considered those yet as viable solutions. I'll see what I can find and update you if I find something that works for me.
