UniBrau 20 Gallon system - Brew Day and Questions

Thanks for your reply! I like the idea of the NorCal brewing false bottom. I guess this would be a custom build though for the 20G kettle. Do you intend to use the Brau Supply dip tube still? Thanks for the other suggestions and I'll look into the Brewfather software.

UniBrau 20 Gallon system - Brew Day and Questions

My first brew on my 20G Unibrau was a 5 gallon pale ale. I was trying to get my feet wet without running the risk of effin' up 10 gallons of beer. I Pretty much winged my way through it. I "graduated" from a 3 vessel system with plastic coolers and a keggle so this one vessel setup it still...

Filling a 5lb tank with my 20lb tank

Thanks everyone for your input! After reading all this I’ve decided to just go get my 5lb filled at my lhbs when it needs to be! I’ll use the 20lb for carbonating all beers and serving the sipping beers in the garage.

Filling a 5lb tank with my 20lb tank

High pressure stuff always freaks me out for some reason but I have a 20LB tank on my garage kegerator and a 5LB tank in my outdoor kitchen kegerator and I would like to be able to fill the 5lb with the 20lb.. Does anyone do this? If so, please let me know what you are doing! Thanks

Aging Cider in a Rum Barrel

Wow 6 months in a 5 gal! Seems like that would be pretty overpowering on the rum/oak, were there any apple notes left?

Time for a New All-In-One Brewing System

I did it! I ordered a Unibräu 20G. For a controller I decided to go with the Blichmann Brewhouse Controller Brew Commander 240V in stead of the Brau supply controller. Excited! (and no, I didn’t get a stimulus check lol)
