I got an 8oz. jar of Easy Clean by L.D. Carlson with my brewing kit. Is this just a cleaner, or is it a sanitizer? Everything I can find on the net says it is a cleaner, nothing said about sanitizing. The guy at the shop where I got the kit says it will sanitize with a two minute contact time...

I strained mine though a very fine mesh coffee strainer. Don't want to waste beer!!! That would be alcohol abuse!!

The bottles are sam adams bottles that I bought (full of beer) and saved the bottles because I planned to start brewing one day. As far as I know they are used once by me. I have six cases of sam bottles that I have been saving.
