My Sears 14.8. Nothing fancy, but functional!

I love the bottom skirt. What wheels you use and how did they attach? I have same one and would love to get it rolling. Inside pvc looks great too.

    Finished my keezer this weekend

Looks great! Same color scheme I was planning... black with a dark wood finish that matches some furniture in my house. Standard questions... What freezer? How many cornys can you fit?

How many have had brew days/weekends ruined by FedEx?? - possible theft here

Rev, as you know I live in the same town... always found the UPS drivers to be MUCH better with regards to leaving packages. Glad it worked out and he just got the wrong house in this case, but in general, they always switch up the Fed Ex guy (at least on my route) so they always do things...

    Kegerator is done!

Very nice. Clean and simple. I'm just starting to think about making one, and looking at the hundreds of pics on here really makes it difficult to decide what to do.

Brew Year Resolution - 2012 Brewing Goals

Great lists... have given me ideas for my own goals, but I need to keep to basics for awhile I think. 1. Keep learning 2. I'm making yeast starters, but want to learn to pitch the "correct" amount... not too much, not too little. 3. Start kegging and build a 4 tap keezer. 4. Start keeping...

Cornelius Kegs - Anyone need em in Jersey Area?

I didn't post in the group buys forum since it was listed as "Ingredients" only. I hope it's ok to post here. There is a craigslist ad from a guy selling used Cornie Kegs in Danbury, CT. I'd be happy to forward the link/info to anyone who PM's me. He apparently has a couple hundred to...

Best practices for washing bottles... how do you do it?

Yea, using PBW or Oxyclean to soak the labels off overnight is great! A quick spray of starsan on the hands after handling the bottles with oxy clean on them also makes that slippery feeling go away immediately. StarSan is amazing... and I think fairly cost efficient. Only 1oz of liquid...

Sweet, and Sour, Cherries for extract clone of Troeg's Mad Elf

Thanks aiptasia. I found frozen tart cherries... 5lb bags at Frank Farms, but they are out of Sweet Cherries.... but those are much easier to find. I can likely find them at my local Trader Joes. Now to search more on HBT to find out how much to add for a medium level of cherry flavor goodness.

Sweet, and Sour, Cherries for extract clone of Troeg's Mad Elf

I'm researching and putting together an extract clone of Troeg's Mad Elf, and apparently the secret is to use 1/2 sweet cherries, and 1/2 sour cherries, not just all sweet. Anyone have a line on how the cherries I buy should be packaged? I see some dried, I see some in a light syrup, I see...

    My first brew is great!!

Well done! I found the more I read, the more I don't know, but the more I do know for the simple extracts I'm doing, so I'm really looking forward to my 2nd and 3rd batches. Did that make sense? lol.
