I guess the more I look at it, and mess with it, it's an airlock of sorts. It snaps on to the small call on the large lid and then, maybe, you fill the recessed area with water. Ray

Ok, I feel a little silly for asking but this is the second one I've gotten with a big mouth bubbler. Could somebody please tell me what this is and what it's for? Is it an April off some sort? Thanks, Ray
