    no boil prehopped beer kits

Unfortunately (for me), this is the current price for a 1kg bag of light DME at my LHBS . Or $40 for 3kg. Keep in mind these are Canadian $ lol. Especially after getting this most recent deal on kits online, I don't really mind paying a little more for the expertise/ advice/ BS session at the...

    no boil prehopped beer kits

You might want to add maltodextrin, just so it doesn't come out watery. I attempted a Mild Ale using a Cooper's Real Ale can, 1/2lb Amber DME and 1 lb Maltodextrin. OG=1.030, FG=1.015 ABV=2.6%. Tasted like beer, mouth feel like beer, didn't get hammered after 6 bombers lol

Coopers Extracts, not using the brew enhancer/using honey or corn syrup instead of the enhancer?

Just bottled a Cooper's Dark Ale kit made with 1kg Light DME, 450g Coconut sugar and 250 g Molasses added for the 23L Batch. OG was 1.050, FG 1.010. The Coconut sugar was an impulse buy at the grocery store. Label said it was similar to brown sugar, couldn't really taste coconut. I could get...

Was searching for a recipe after being away from the hobby since '97, followed a google link to your recipe database, lurked in the forums for a while, signed up lol. Man, this hobby has changed in 22 years lol.
